Secretary Jacobsen administers swearing-in of new Montana Director of Commerce

ELENA, Mont. — This week, Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen administered the oath of office and swearing in of new Director of Commerce, Paul Green. Governor Greg Gianforte appointed Director Green to the position this week.

Secretary Jacobsen spoke with Director Green about Montana’s record new business growth, which she announced with Governor Gianforte earlier this week in Helena. The Secretary looks forward to working with Director Green and the Department of Commerce by partnering with the Montana business community to ensure continued growth and opportunities.

“It was an honor to administer Director Green’s oath of office as he accepts this new position in our great state,” said Secretary Jacobsen. “The Secretary of State’s Office is proud to join the Department of Commerce in offering resources for our Montana businesses that will help them thrive in our state. I look forward to working with Director Green and the Department of Commerce on behalf of our Montana businesses.”

“Congratulations on being appointed as Director of Commerce, and thank you for your service to our wonderful state,” she added.
