Bridger Aerospace Group Holdings, Inc. has mobilized its CL-415EAF “Super Scooper” aircraft to California to support wildfire suppression efforts, marking the company’s earliest seasonal deployment in its history.
The deployment follows a Task Order from the U.S. Forest Service, requested by the State of California, which is already facing intense wildfires unusually early in the season.
“I am proud of our team for mobilizing in record time,” said Sam Davis, Interim CEO of Bridger Aerospace. “With our first Scooper already in California, we stand ready to assist and supplement existing firefighting efforts however we can.”
Super Scoopers are highly effective in wildfire suppression, rapidly delivering large volumes of water to active fires, helping to increase efficiency, minimize destruction, and save lives.
