A recent survey reveals that Americans are filing their income taxes at a rate similar to last year. According to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey, 23% of American adults have already submitted their tax returns.
Meanwhile, a majority (55%) plan to file by the April 15 deadline, while 7% expect to request an extension. Another 15% remain unsure about their filing plans.
The survey results closely mirror those from February 2024, indicating consistent tax filing behavior among U.S. taxpayers.
