President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are set to journey to Camp David on Saturday and extend their stay through Christmas, marking the family’s inaugural celebration of the holiday at the presidential retreat. Situated on 125 acres in Maryland’s Catoctin Mountains, the country residence provides a more secluded atmosphere compared to the White House, which has hosted the Bidens for the past two Christmases.
The couple will return to the White House on Tuesday, and the subsequent day, they will embark on a trip to St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands—a favored destination for the Bidens. They plan to remain there through the New Year’s holiday, as indicated in a pool report.
