Poll: Knudsen with big lead over Alke in Attorney General race

A recent poll conducted statewide has unveiled significant support for Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen in his bid for reelection against Democratic challenger Ben Alke. According to the survey results, Knudsen commands a strong lead over his opponent, Ben Alke, ahead of the upcoming election.

The poll, conducted by Public Opinion Strategies, indicates that Attorney General Austin Knudsen holds a commanding 50% of voter support, while his Democratic challenger, Ben Alke, trails with 36%. The remaining 14% of respondents either remain undecided or support other candidates not specified in the poll.

Austin Knudsen, currently serving as Montana’s Attorney General, has been recognized for his tenure focusing on strengthening law enforcement efforts to fight human trafficking and fighting back against liberal federal policies promoted by the Biden Administration. According to the Montana Department of Justice, Knudsen has sued Biden over 50 times.

In contrast, Ben Alke, the Democratic nominee and trial lawyer from Bozeman, faces a challenging path to close the gap in voter support. Throughout his campaign, Alke has struggled to raise money or gain attention.

The latest campaign finance reports show that Alke has just $34,430 cash on hand to Knudsen’s $204,837.
