MISSOULA, Mont. — U.S. Sen. Steve Daines wrote a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray Wednesday calling for an investigation into the Chinese spy balloon that flew over Montana.
The balloon flew over the country earlier this year, and Daines is now asking Wray for the current status and preliminary findings in the investigation.
Daines also asked in the letter how U.S. technology ended up on the spy balloon.
