The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) is proud to announce the launch of a new Job Board through Wyoming Venture Capital (WYVC), aimed at enhancing support for its portfolio companies and partners. This initiative addresses the ongoing challenges of recruiting qualified talent in Wyoming while providing job seekers with a streamlined resource to explore employment opportunities across the state.
The primary objective of the WYVC Job Board is to connect skilled professionals with specialized roles, particularly in fields such as technology, engineering, and accounting. By consolidating job listings from tech-focused startups, the board aims to attract individuals who have left the state and encourage recent graduates to remain in Wyoming, thereby accelerating the hiring process for companies seeking the right fit.
“One of our central WYVC goals is to help companies we invest in recruit Wyoming talent,” said Gordon Finnegan, WBC Equity Portfolio Manager. “This job board serves as a comprehensive resource for graduates looking to stay in the state and for professionals considering a return, linking them with opportunities in high-growth startups as they continue to expand.”
The WBC’s mission is to create new opportunities for current and future generations of Wyoming residents. The WYVC Job Board plays a crucial role in this mission by showcasing high-level job openings in sectors that might otherwise prompt young professionals to seek opportunities elsewhere.
In addition to fostering the growth of innovative startups, this initiative aims to strengthen the local economy by highlighting exciting opportunities within tech-enabled companies, showcasing the vibrant job market available in Wyoming.
